Training Overview:
Communicating public health information to broad audiences can be challenging, especially when translating complex concepts into clear, accessible messages. This webinar is designed to help professionals strengthen their communication strategies across multiple channels, including newsletters and social media. This session will also offer tools to improve the clarity, engagement, and impact of communication efforts amongst public health professionals.
About the Presenter:
As senior content strategist at the Rollins School of Public Health, Shelby Crosier, MPH, writes across school publications including newsletters, the online news center, the bi-annual magazine, and social media. She writes the weekly Rollins Public Health News newsletter and is the assistant editor of Rollins Magazine.
Crosier holds bachelor’s degrees in environmental public health and Spanish linguistics from The Ohio State University. She is also a Rollins alumna, completing her MPH in Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences in 2024.
Previously, Crosier worked in maternal and child health programs in Detroit, MI, and as a Peace Corps volunteer in Peru. She now applies her passion for maternal health and unique viewpoint as a former on-the-ground public health worker to her writing, which translates complex health topics into accessible stories with heart.
